What a contrast from what God intended the church to be and what it seems to have become today. It was nice to remember the charge Paul gave to Timothy in that as Christians we must all flee, pursue, and fight. It is biblical to teach our children to flee from the world's "junk" even though the world calls it "sheltering them from reality". What an awesome God we serve. THANK-YOU!!

I have always taught that one can pray to God anywhere, at any time, and about anything and that one does not need to fold their hands, bow their head, and close their eyes to speak to the Lord. It was so nice to be given the numerous references that show the many different "positions of prayer" used throughout Scripture. I also truly appreciated the statment of how a woman should dress....the goldiness on the inside should be reflected on the outside with our choice of outside attire. I went through a very brief time in which I struggled with outer attire until the Lord used a friend to point it out to me. I believe that statement will hold powerful conviction for myself but also for my daughters as they grow and mature in their faith and godliness. THANKYOU!!

The verse that jumped out to me the most in this sturdy would be....1:5. To know that the goal of real love is a pure heart, good conscience, and sincere faith. In my own life, I can honestly say that the only real love I have received has come form my Lord and Savior. It was nice to see how confident Paul was in his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. That he truly loved Timothy and showed it in his kind words and actions towards him. Oh to find that kind of love amongst God's followers today would be pure joy. I, again, appreciated all the additional Scripture references! THANK-YOU!!

First, I would just like to say how much I apreciate you having all studies on your website. I didn't attend services last Sunday and appreciated still being able to listen to the study and not lose out on anything. (I do wish you had a rewind button, though, for when I want to relisten to some point you made,,,just a thought from me.) Second, I didn't realize how knowledgable yet "not-so-smart" the pharisees were when it came to knowing the Scriptures yet not knowing the background history of Jesus. It shows that we can know the Scriptures but if we don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and know HIM, we are still lost. THANK-YOU!!!

I can say without doubt this was the absolute best study I have ever heard in all my days! I have been a professing Christian for 37 years and I have never had heaven and hell explained in such simple yet extreme ways as within this study. I knew there were three heaven but no one, and I mean no one, has ever labeled them nor explained them to me. I have never been able to teach my children when they would ask questions about the heavens because I, myself, had never been taught. I am so excited to finally have answers with biblical references to take myself and my children to. I had a magnet that said...The message of God's wrath is just as much a part of the salvation story as is the message of God's love...I truly believe that for, as I tell my kids, we will all spend eternity somewhere...heaven or hell....we have a choice. You very rarely or never here this truth preached in churches or Bible studies any more and it would be my suggestion that this study be preached and taught numerous times throughout the year. Again, THE BEST study I have ever heard! Just a wonderful example that we never stop learning with God!!<br />THANK-YOU for all references and explanations!!!

I appreciated the numerous additional Bible references throughout the study. It truly shows that God's Word is unified. I also appreciated the affirmation that a person's fruit will show our faith. My version uses the word "goal" in verse 9. It seems we are always being told to make goals in our life. I believe this verse sums up the most important goal that will last into eternity and that we should be striving for and teaching our children to reach for and obtain rather than simply the goals of this world and life that will one day pass away. THANK-YOU!!!!!!

When teaching my children what it means to be a Christian, I have stressed "a follower of Christ". THANK-YOU so very much for a detailed, biblical definition of what a Christian is. It opens up a whole new, exciting teaching opportunity as well as another way to truly look into my own heart to see if I meet the criteria God has set for me to be called one of His own. An opportunity for me to look and make sure that I do have a very personal relationship and that Christ is my Lord and my Savior and that I can truly be called His child! THANK-YOU!!!

WOW!! This study made me realize that no matter how long one has been a Christian, the Lord can still knock you upside the head when need be. I felt led to listen to this topical study today rather than a book study like I have been, and now I know why. Listening to this study, I saw myself in a whole new light as revealed through my God and His Word. I realized probably for the very first time in all my life and professing Christianity, that I fall under the definition given in this study as a pharisee. That realization cuts about as deep as anything can. But that cut has released tears that have been dammed up for so long and needed to be released. I praise my God for this study for through it I see where I need to become right with my Lord and with a very important person in my life. I would extremely recommend that every person listen to this study, for in it they just might see the "real" them. THANK-YOU!!!!

I didn't realize it was never mentioned throughout the Book that Jonah was happy until he got something for himself. What an example of selfishness that God's own people can fall into. I appreciate the extra information and additional Bible references given throughout each study. THANK-YOU!!
