In Chapters 4 & 5 of The Revelation, we saw great worship in heaven around the throne of God.  This is in preparation for the wrath of God which is to come in Chapters 6 thorugh 19.  It may seem strange that worship and wrath should go together, but only becasue we don't fully comprehend the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man.  Man says "The world is getting better"; God says "All things will become increasingly worse."  Man says that "Peace among the nations is close at hand"; God says "There will be wars and rumors of wars."  Man expects to win the battle against disease, famine, poverty and hardship.  God says "There is to be fearful judgment of disease, famine and pestilence".
