The people of Israel were poised to enter the Promised Land, but before they entered, Moses had to give them a sermon to prepare them.  Their success was dependent upon thier obedience to God, and on their remembering the things of the Lord.  How many people forget God?  How many ignore God?  Neglect God?  Reject God?  How many atheists are there who say that God does not exist?  How many agnostics are ther who say that God may or may not exist?  How many people attempt to forget God because they want to live in some sin?
