We have just completed a review of the seven letters to the seven churches, in Revelation Chapters 2 & 3, that Jesus dictated to John.  In the beginning of our study of The Revelation, we covered a few principles that we would follow during our study of this Book:

• Since we are definitely in the last days, the Revelation is certainly relevant;
• Only the biblically illiterate are unable to grasp that fact;
• The Holy Spirit will teach us all things, and that goes for The Book of Revelation also;
• God means what He says, and says what He means;
• The Bible, all 66 books, is an integrated whole - every detail is here by design of the Holy Spirit
• Nothing in the Bible is trivial - it is all here for our learning;
• God is His own interpreter....nothing in the Bible is left for private interpretation
