Chapter 54 of The Book of Isaiah is the song that accompanies salvation and the future glory of Israel.  It follows Chapter 53 which portrays that salvation that was brought about by the "Suffering Servant", Jesus Christ, who gave Himself to a death on the cross so that Israel, and us, may have life....eternal life with Him.
