As we study through the Revelation, keep in mind that the basic characteristics of the book are: 1) It is a Christ-centered Book; 2) It is an open Book; 3) It is a Book filled with signs or symbols; 4) It is a Book of prophecy; 5) It is Book of blessings; 6) It is a relevant Book; 7) It is a majestic Book; and 8) It is a universal Book.  If we stay Christ-centered, He will speak to us about the things of the end-times, but, or importantly, He will speak to us about Himself.
