The Gospel of Luke - Chapter 6
In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve made a choice they thought was right - a choice that they assumed would give them insight and knowledge. Instead, it blinded them and took away their ability to know the truth. We have suffered from this ever since. In Chapter 6 of The Gospel of Luke, Jesus begins to point out the difference between the character of God and the character of man. He begins to prepare us to know our need for a Savior, and to also remind us that, even if we are born-again, regenerated Christians, we are still vulnerable to the "pull" of the world.
