Psalm 107 begins the final section, or Book of the Book of Psalms - the Deuteronomy section, which encompasses chapters 107 through 150.  While the Psalms are, for the most part, historic, it is sometimes difficult to place the time of the events accurately.  But, most of the Psalms, if not all, are also prophetic.  Psalm 107 has been misunderstood by many.  Most miss the prophetic aspects of this Psalm.
