In Chapters 40 through 42, we will see Jeremiah speaking to those who were left in the land by Nebuchadnezzar after he had destroyed Jerusalem. These were the very poor, the blind, the crippled, the sick, the lame, and the criminal element. Nebuchadnezzar deported only the best and brightest of the land of Judah back to Babylon. He didn’t need to bring more problems to his own society.

The whole point of Paul's letter to the Galatians was to clear up confusion that was the result of false teaching. One sure way to identify a false doctrine, or at least cause the "red flags" to start waving, is to apply this test:

The Gospel rests on two great pillars, two sturdy pillars, that hold up the entire Gospel and the Christian faith:
1) The death of Jesus Christ, and;
2) The resurrection of Jesus Christ
Paul gives us the sure Gospel message in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Last week we looked at the death and burial of Jesus....this week we'll look at His resurrection.
